Decoration, Nominations in experts groups

2007
• On August 1st, 2007, Salvino was decorated as Commander of the Italian Republic, one of the highest Italian civil decoration (see pictures).


2002
• In June 2000, Salvino was elected to the National Mixed Commission on Barriers to the Information Society. This Commission was set up by the Belgian Federal Government.

 
1998
• Salvino was member of the evaluator board of the Esprit Program owned by the European Commission (DG III) for following expertise domains:
      - long term research in IT,
      - integration in manifacturing,
      - information dissemination and technology transfer,
      - general information technologies,
      - IT market analyses and exploitation methodology.
