In November 2005, Salvino joined ANGLE plc as
Principal. He helps Qatar Foundation to create and launch the Qatar
Science & Technology Park (QSTP). In particular, he provides
support to the QSTP where he works as Research Grand Challenge
Manager in charge of identifying, assessing and selecting
innovative research projects and technology-intensive business
projects (biotech, nanotech, IT & telecom, renewable energy,
etc.) for investment.
On August 1st, 2007, Salvino was decorated as Commander of the Italian Republic, one of the highest Italian civil decoration.
Before joining his current position, Salvino was Head of Corporate Portal in Qatar Telecom during approximately 30 months. Before that he worked as an Expert consultant in McKinsey and Co (New Businesses, Media and Innovative Technologies Expert). He also worked as a Senior Manager for Accenture, leading the Innovation Center in Brussels.
During the 1990's and early 2000's, he launched and managed three businesses while working as a freelance consultant and an academic.
The only way to fully understand Salvino's career is to accept the idea he has been able to successfully run several jobs and projects... simultaneously
